43+ years’ experience in the Steel Industry Primarily a Structural Steel Detailer with 36 years’ experience in the drafting of industrial, commercial, residential and mining projects and also using Tekla Structures software for the last 26 years.

My advanced diploma in structural/civil construction design, in conjunction with my diploma in project management enables me to have good communication throughout projects I have worked on. Attention to detail and deliverable dates are other characteristics that have always been key factors to my achievements, bringing the best outcomes for all stakeholders.

Studied and completed an advanced diploma of civil/structural engineering and utilized those skills throughout multiple mentoring roles and leadership positions before eventually landing back in drafting.

11+ years in the structural steel industry. Completed my drafting cadetship during this time for a technical engineering ticket. Studied and worked in surveying and building design alongside the construction industry In various roles such as estimating, modelling, drafting with a keen interest in construction technology using geospatial equipment for site measuring and data collection.

I completed my degree in Civil Engineering and my diploma in Civil Construction Design, as well as other courses to improve my skills. Over the years, I worked in different roles which gave me the opportunity to gain experience with architectural, structural, residential & commercial projects. Specializing more and more to achieve excellence in the development and delivery of structural steel projects.
